Drowning in a pool called sleep,
I dream…oh, so deep.
Mumble and toss,
All alone,
Alas!
All alone….
Hopefully this shall not be for long.
A bell rings
And joyous melodies peal forth.
Soaring through the air
And landing on the ear.
Ringing love,
Hope, beauty, truth and faith.
All these things I need and want in life.
Hopefully as this sound falls on my ear,
So too shall these blessings fall on my head.
Dear God in Heaven, this I pray
And know my prayer will be answered.
Because I already have one of these blessings,
That which is known as faith.
And though all of those other blessings would be nice,
As long as I have my faith
I will be content in life.
